Areas of Clinical Specialization:

Adult Clinical Services: Provide individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, consultation, and psychological assessment to a wide range of populations, including adults and couples.  Specialization and concentration in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, gay/lesbian issues, marital therapy, and adjustment and vocational problems.

 Child and Adolescent Services: Conduct clinical assessment and intervention for children and adolescents ranging in age from three to sixteen.  Emphasis on assessment and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, ODD, bipolar disorder, parent-child conflicts, school problems, and adjustment to divorce issues.  Conduct play therapy and family therapy and coordinate with physicians and school officials. Provide assessment and intervention to children with chronic pain and other medical problems. Past consultant to Dallas County Head Start Program.  Perform intellectual assessment, achievement testing., and screening for learning disabilities.  Provide family therapy, parent consultation, and behavior management programs.

Health and Rehabilitation Psychology: Conduct psychological assessment, evaluation and intervention with medical and orthopedic patients.  Provide psychological support and consultation services to physicians and rehabilitation staff at three Dallas area clinics.  Teach behavioral relaxation, stress management, and psycho-educational classes to work hardening patients.  Perform behavioral pain management and individual psychotherapy utilizing cognitive-behavioral approaches with an emphasis on rehabilitation issues.  Participate in weekly  interdisciplinary treatment team meetings providing psychological expertise and assistance in treatment planning and intervention.  Serve as peer reviewer for injury-related psychological services for companies such as Concentra, HNC Insurance Solutions, CorVel and Review Med.

Occupational and Forensic Assessment:  Conduct psychological evaluation and assessment including “fitness for duty” evaluations for security companies and other employers. Assess applicants for psychological suitability for licensing as Personal Protection Officers in the State of Texas.  Assist employers with critical debriefing and group intervention in instances of employee suicide and workplace violence.  Provide assessment and testimony in child related legal cases.  Serve as a Peer Reviewer in litigation related to children.
